Information Pack (updated 10 April 2025)

This year is a key one for Progressive Judaism in the UK, as we move towards the two Extraordinary General Meeting votes that – if positive – will see the unification of the Movement for Reform Judaism and Liberal Judaism.

The date for these EGMs has been sent for the morning of Sunday 18 May.

To help prepare communities for those votes, the leadership of every Liberal and Reform congregation was sent an information pack in January, with a further pack sent in April following feedback and consultation.

These packs contain the key foundational proposals for the new Movement, including FAQs, information on proposed governing and financial arrangements, and some of the core features of the organisation’s work. They also include the full proposed Membership Agreement and Articles and Rules.
